Orient Energy is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. The company has assets in some of Australia’s key conventional and unconventional basins. Our goal is to reduce the duration of converting reserves to commercial oil and gas assets. Our projects have, or are close to existing infrastructure. Orient manages its operations at low cost by investing in asset development counter cycle. We are focussed on the efficient delivery of projects using modern technology and efficient management systems to achieve objectives.
Orient Energy currently operates and has stakes in a number of oil and gas exploration and development projects. Our exploration project is in the Perth Basin off Western Australia. The Perth Basin is a major oil and gas production base in Australia with significant new discoveries of late. Further exploration tenements in Bunbury are located in great proximity to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.
Our development projects are located in the Surat Basin, one of the major production basins for the East Coast of Australia. We have interests in 9 petroleum productions leases covering an area of 698 with 52 petroleum wells.
Orient Energy maintains close contact with Australia’s major oil and gas enterprises through our joint venture relationships and asset acquisitions. In addition, Orient has a good working relationship with some of China’s largest oil and gas enterprises. Aiming to be a bridge between China and Australia for joint development, Orient Energy is working to create opportunities to develop energy resources across the two countries.
